01 What is Real World Connections (RWC)?
RWC is a unique program that offers talented middle and high school students the opportunity to be involved in a fun-filled and hands-on educational experience. Students work with well-known companies, become entrepreneurs, and collaborate with industry experts, alumni, NJIT students and faculty.
02 Who can participate in RWC?
RWC is open to talented middle and high school students who are interested in STEM, business, entrepreneurship, and technology. We welcome students from all backgrounds and skill levels.
03 How much does it cost to participate?

04 Where does RWC take place?
RWC operates from NJIT campus at 323 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Newark, NJ 07102. We also have satellite locations in Mount Olive, Freehold, and other partner school districts.
05 How can my company become a partner?
We welcome industry partnerships! Contact us through our partnerships page or reach out directly to our program director. Partners contribute mentorship, project ideas, and domain expertise while gaining access to emerging talent.
06 What skills do students learn?
Students gain hands-on experience in project management, leadership, entrepreneurship, R&D, software development, programming, engineering, social skills, presentation, and communication skills — all integrated with mentorship from industry and university professionals.
